Your sending domain has to be verified again with the new provider. Publish its SPF and DKIM records before moving traffic, and keep the old records until the switch is finished so mail in flight still authenticates.
SES is often called through the AWS SDK with IAM credentials. The alternatives here accept SMTP or a REST API, so switching usually means changing SMTP settings or replacing the SDK call.
